Zhi Ke (fried with wheat bran) 4 qian, Jiegeng 4 qian, Banxia (soaked) 2 qian, Huangqin 2 qian, Gualouzi 2 qian, Huanglian 2 qian, Maimendong (core removed) 2 qian.

Benefits

Indicated for heat-induced fullness and distension, pain in the chest and diaphragm or in the flanks, as well as fever lingering in the chest and diaphragm following malaria or diarrhea, or chest fullness and knotted pain resulting from excessive alcohol consumption.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients and divide into two doses. For each dose, add 5 slices of fresh ginger and 2 zhan of water; decoct until reduced to 8 fen. Take between meals. Symptoms will subside immediately after a bowel movement.
