Formulas Name : Mulberry Twig Wine

Chinese Name : 桑枝浸酒

Drug Formulation

1 jin of mulberry twigs, 1 jin of weeping willow twigs, 1 jin of locust tree twigs, 3 liang of Notopterygium root, 3 liang of Achyranthes root (stems removed), 1 sheng of black beans (roasted), 3 liang of Aconite root (cracked, skin and pith removed), 3 liang of Cinnamon bark, and 3 liang of prepared Rehmannia root.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients. Mix thoroughly, place in a raw silk bag, and steep in 5 dou of fine wine for 7 days.

Wind.

Instructions for Use

Drink 1–2 small cups warm before or after meals each day; do not overindulge—it is best to feel slightly tipsy and maintain a constant hint of alcohol on the breath.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods, poisonous fish, and pork.
