2 liang of Codonopsis (root without the fibrous base), 2 liang of Eucommia (charred), 2 liang of Cistanche (roasted), 2 liang of Anemarrhena (salted), 2 liang of Phellodendron, 2 liang of Polygala (roasted, core removed),salted Alisma 1 liang, Astragalus 1 liang, turtle shell (roasted) 1 liang, Achyranthes 1 liang, Cnidium 1 liang, licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (roasted) 4 liang,Chinese yam 4 liang (ground into a fine powder), prepared rehmannia root 4 liang, raw rehmannia root 4 liang, asparagus root 4 liang, corni fruit (roasted) 2 liang, red asparagus root 2 liang, star anise 2 liang, schisandra berries (roasted) 1 liang, goji berries 1 liang (simmered together to form a paste).
