Drug Formulation

1 set of gazelle bones, 3 liang of Polygala, 3 liang of Astragalus, 3 liang of Peony, 3 liang of Dried Ginger, 3 liang of Saposhnikovia, 3 liang of Poria (or Poria Sclerotium), 3 liang of Magnolia Bark, 2 liang of Angelica, 2 liang of Tangerine Peel, 2 liang of Licorice, 2 liang of Dehuo, 2 liang of Ligusticum, 4 liang of Cinnamon Bark, and 4 liang of Fresh Ginger.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Boil the deer bones in 3 dou of water; reduce to 2 dou, remove the bones, add the herbs, and simmer until reduced to 5 sheng. Strain out the residue and divide into 5 doses.
