Drug Formulation

Half a liang of dried tangerine peel (white pith removed), half a liang of radish seeds (roasted), 3 qian of black pepper, 3 qian of Wood Fragrance, 3 qian of cardamom (coated in flour, roasted, and peeled), 3 qian of green tangerine peel (white pith removed), and 2.5 qian of scorpion tails (detoxified).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with water paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

For central fullness and abdominal distension in cases of deficiency in the lower jiao.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with warm rice porridge after meals. For children, make pills the size of a sesame seed; take 10 pills per dose, washed down with mulberry bark decoction, three times daily.

Note

Avoid greasy foods; consume plain rice porridge for 100 days, or one year for severe cases.
