Formulas Name : Cardamom and Wood Fragrance Pills
Chinese Name : 豆蔻木香丸
Drug Formulation
1.5 liang of Shang Zhike (fried with wheat bran, pith removed), 1 liang of Yizhi, 1 liang of Xuanhu, 1 liang of Leiwan, 1 liang of Jing Sanling (roasted until red, crushed), 1 liang of Peng’e Zhu (roasted until cooked, crushed),half liang of white cardamom seeds, 7.5 qian of Amomum villosum, 1 liang of green tangerine peel (white pith removed), 7.5 qian of Angelica sinensis (root tip removed), half liang of Wood Fragrance, half liang of black pepper, 1 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 liang of dried tangerine peel (white pith removed), 2 liang 4 qian of Pharbitis nil (lightly roasted to 8 liang, then ground into fine powder), and 1 liang of Pinellia ternata (washed 7 times in boiling water, then processed with ginger juice).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a paste made from ginger juice and flour.

For stagnant qi, phlegm-fluid retention, accumulated undigested food, chest and abdominal masses, mental confusion, emaciation, and uncontrollable diarrhea or vomiting.
Instructions for Use
Take 30–40 pills per dose after meals, washed down with ginger soup; if symptoms of internal injury are present, take 70–80 pills. After one month of treatment, a sense of lightness in the body indicates the formula is effective.
