Formulas Name : Ointment for Wounds
Chinese Name : 金疮膏药
Drug Formulation
4 liang of raw lard, 2 liang of rutaceae, 2 liang of camphor, 1 liang of Bletilla striata (roasted), 1 qian of catechu, 1 qian of mercuric oxide, 1 qian of frankincense, and 1 qian of myrrh.

Processing
Grind each ingredient into a fine powder. Melt the lard, add the Bletilla and Rutaceae, then add the camphor. Remove from heat and let cool. Add the frankincense, myrrh, and catechu. Once completely cooled, add the mercury oxide to form a paste.

Instructions for Use
Whenever a wound occurs and bleeding has not yet stopped, apply this ointment immediately and secure it firmly; mild pain will subside within a short time, and the wound will heal.
