Drug Formulation

3 jin of roasted Astragalus, 3 jin of Atractylodes macrocephala, 8 liang of roasted licorice, 2 jin of Guang Chenpi, 5 jin of Angelica sinensis, 1 jin of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 1 jin of Hangzhou peony root, 9 liang of selected Amomum villosum, 1 jin of Northern glehnia root, 2 jin of Poria cocos, 2 jin of jujube seeds, 2 jin of Ophiopogon japonicus, 2 jin of Eucommia ulmoides (roasted), 1 jin 4 liang of walnut kernels,2 jin 8 liang of reed seeds, 1 jin of vinegar-fried mugwort leaves, 2 jin of longan flesh, 2 jin of Chinese yam, 4 liang of polygala root, 4 jin of prepared rehmannia root, 8 liang of schisandra berries, and 4 liang of clarified butter.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder; mix with clarified butter, melt and stir-fry lightly, then combine with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian at a time, washed down with rice wine or plain water.
