Instructions for Use
Mix 3 qian of the powdered herb with 1 zhan of wine; let it settle for a short while, then strain and drink the clear liquid. Apply the residue to the affected area.If there is stagnant blood or yin toxicity within the body, there will be no pain; applying the poultice will immediately relieve the pain. If there is an accumulation of emotions such as worry or anger that attacks internally, the pain will be unbearable; applying the poultice will immediately relieve the pain. If there is internal heat that is overwhelming, making the affected area too hot to touch, applying the poultice will provide immediate cooling relief. If there is qi deficiency and cold blood, causing an ulcer that fails to heal, applying the poultice will promote healing.
