Formulas Name : Pu Huang He Shen San
Chinese Name : 蒲黄黑神散
Drug Formulation
Raw and cooked Rehmannia glutinosa, 1 liang and a half (the cooked variety must be steamed 9 times, or over 20 times, until it turns a blackish-brown color; it must not be exposed to cold water; add 1 liang to the weight; the raw variety is weighed dry at half a liang), Angelica sinensis (soaked in wine for half a day, then baked), 1 liang and 1 fen,Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed) 1 liang 1 fen (not heated over fire), Dried Ginger (roasted) 1 liang 1 fen, White Peony Root 1 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Genuine Puhuang (stir-fried on white paper) 1 liang, Aconite Root (roasted) 2 qian, Black Beans 1.5 liang (roasted, hulled).

Instructions for Use
Take 3 qian per dose; for postpartum blood deficiency, this will regulate and promote urination; for a stillborn fetus, take it with warm wine, and shortly thereafter the fetus will warm up and be expelled on its own.
