Drug Formulation
8 qian of Smilax seed, 3 qian of rhubarb, 3 qian of safflower, 3 qian of white angelica root, 3 qian of toadnut kernel, 3 qian of raw rehmannia root, 3 qian of angelica sinensis, 2 qian of phellodendron bark, 2 qian of licorice root, 2 qian of peony bark, 2 qian of red peony root,2 qian of Scutellaria baicalensis, 2 qian of whole scorpion, 2 qian of cicada slough, 2 qian of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 2 qian of manchurian pangolin scale, 2 qian of white silkworm pupae, 2 qian of Angelica pubescens, 2 qian of frankincense (oil removed), 2 qian of myrrh (oil removed), 2 qian of cinnamon bark, 2 qian of Coptis chinensis, and 2 qian of Scrophularia ningpoensis.

Processing
Roast all ingredients until black. Soak in 8 liang of genuine sesame oil for 3 days, then simmer in a pot until it boils 100 times. Place a large sheet of rice paper in the oil, soak it thoroughly, and spread it on the ground to remove the toxic heat.

Cut and apply according to the size of the sore.
