Chinese Name : 神妙沉香丸

Drug Formulation

Cloves 1 fen, Agarwood 1 fen, Frankincense 1 qian and a half, a small amount of Asafoetida, Cinnamon Bark half liang (with coarse bark removed), Imported Fennel half liang (roasted), Areca Nuts 2 (add 2 more in winter), Cardamom 2 (add 2 more in summer), Piper longum half liang, Croton Seeds 15 (remove skin and core; do not extract oil; grind separately).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix in the croton seeds and asafoetida until uniform; form into pills the size of mung beans using cooked white rice.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills at a time, washed down with ginger tea; if there is disharmony of qi in the chest and diaphragm, or if cold qi from the lower jiao rises to cause confusion and drowsiness, increase the dose to 10 pills and take them with warm wine; for regular use, take them with tea as desired. It is important to maintain moderate physical activity; adjust the dosage as needed.
