Drug Formulation
He Shou Wu (use both red and white varieties) 4 liang, Raw Rehmannia 2 liang, Prepared Rehmannia 2 liang, Chrysanthemum Flowers (sweet variety from the garden) 2 liang, Plantain Seeds 2 liang, Lycium Bark 2 liang (remove the coarse outer bark; use the part close to the pith), Poria Sclerotium (white variety) 2 liang,Polygala root 2 liang (boiled in citrus peel water, pith removed), Acorus rhizome 2 liang (with 9 nodes, soaked in rice washing water overnight), Sichuan Achyranthes root 2 liang (soaked in wine), Cistanche 2 liang (washed in wine, scales removed), Chinese yam 2 liang,2 liang of Morinda root (soaked and stir-fried, with the core removed), 2 liang of Ganzhou goji berries (soaked in wine; alternatively, add 2 liang of biota seeds and 2 liang of sour jujube seeds).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. In spring and summer, form into pills using a wine paste; in autumn and winter, form into pills using refined honey.
Instructions for Use
Take 100 pills per dose, washed down with boiling water in the early morning; may be taken with lightly salted wine.
