3 qian of silver vermilion (water-washed and sun-dried), 2 qian of castor beans, 5 qian of fresh pine resin, 1 qian of orpiment (sun-dried), and 0.5 fen of mercury oxide.

Instructions for Use

Use a silver needle to lance the tip of the boil, then place a small ball of the red ointment in the center of the medicated patch and apply it; the boil will be drawn out immediately. For those who fear pain, lancing is not necessary.
