Drug Formulation

10 liang of Forsythia, 2 liang 5 qian of Rhubarb, 5 liang of Bile Grass, 10 liang of Red Poria, 5 liang of Indigo Powder, 5 liang of Licorice, 10 liang of Platycodon, 1 liang of Coptis, 5 liang of Scrophularia (stem removed), 1 liang 5 qian of Cinnabar, 1 qian 5 fen of Borneol, 1 qian 5 fen of Rhinoceros Horn, 5 liang of Pollen, 10 liang of Chrysanthemum, and 5 liang of Scutellaria.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and sift through a sieve. Separately grind the cinnabar, borneol, and rhinoceros horn, then mix them into the powder. Form into pills using refined honey, each weighing 1 qian. Coat with 36 portions of gold-coated paper and seal tightly with wax.
