Drug Formulation

1 liang of Guizhi, 1 liang of Ma Huang (with roots and nodes removed), 1 liang of Gan Cao (lightly roasted until reddish, coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Chi Shaoyao, 1 liang of Ge Gen (coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Xing Ren (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried until slightly yellow).

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose. Boil with 1 medium bowl of water and half a portion of fresh ginger until reduced to 6 portions. Strain and take while hot, regardless of the time of day. Cover with clothing to induce sweating; if no sweat appears after walking 10 li, wait a while longer and then administer scallion and fermented black bean congee.
