Chinese Name : 炙甘草汤

Drug Formulation

4 liang of licorice (roasted), 3 liang of ginger (sliced), 2 liang of ginseng, 1 jin of raw rehmannia root, 3 liang of cinnamon twig (peeled), 2 liang of donkey-hide gelatin, half a sheng of ophiopogon tuber (core removed), half a sheng of hemp seeds, and 30 jujubes (split open).

Instructions for Use

Combine the ingredients with 7 sheng of clear rice wine and 8 sheng of water. First, decoct the eight ingredients, reduce to 3 sheng, strain out the residue, add the donkey-hide gelatin and melt it completely, then take 1 sheng while warm, three times daily.
