For injuries caused by wood, stone, or metal blades resulting in broken skin and bleeding; as well as for various non-healing sores and insect bites.
Instructions for Use
Use 5 large bowls of freshly drawn water; place all ingredients in an earthenware pot and simmer until the elephant skin disintegrates. Strain out the residue, then add 4 liang of yellow gelatin and heat until melted. Once set, use a brush to apply the mixture onto thick cotton paper; each batch yields 50–60 sheets. Allow to cool and dry. When ready for use, cut to size, moisten with saliva, and apply to the affected area.
