Drug Formulation

12 liang of Da Huai Rehmannia (prepare as follows: place the Rehmannia in a sandpot with 3 liang of Amomum and 3 liang of aged ginger; first simmer in clean water for two days and nights; when the Rehmannia is nearly mushy, add fine wine and continue simmering until the Rehmannia is completely pulverized; reduce the wine to dryness, then remove the mixture; discard the Amomum and ginger residue; pound the Rehmannia into a paste for use),Large Angelica Root (remove the top and bottom, slice the body, wash with fine wine, sun-dry, and set aside) 12 liang; Bleached Atractylodes (use clean, dry slices; grind with yellow earth, stir-fry until very yellow, remove, and sift out the earth) 12 liang; Solid Scutellaria Root (do not use withered or withered-looking roots; select small, solid ones, slice, and stir-fry with wine three times) 6 liang,Cotton-like Eucommia 12 liang (sliced, stir-fried with salt water until the strands break easily), Sichuan Dipsacus 12 liang (sliced, stir-fried with wine).

Processing

Combine the last five ingredients, bake them over a fire until dry, grind them into a fine powder using a stone mill, and sift.
