Drug Formulation

Ginseng 1 liang, Frankincense 1 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala (roasted) 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang, Green tangerine peel 1 liang, Dried tangerine peel (white pith removed) 1 liang, Sophora japonica pods 1 liang, Pinellia ternata 1 liang, Gastrodia elata 1 liang, Sapindus mukorossi (peel and string removed, fried with ghee) 5 qian.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from the natural juice of fresh ginger to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

For wind-phlegm-induced wheezing and cough.

Instructions for Use

Take 50–70 pills per dose after meals or before bedtime, washed down with warm wine; ginger tea may also be used.
