Benefits
For sycamore-berry sores and wind-induced pain in the tendons and bones.
Instructions for Use
Use 1.5 zhong of water and half a zhong of wine; decoct until reduced to 1 zhong. Administer to the patient as needed, regardless of hunger or fullness. Re-decoct the residue and drink it as well. Take one dose per day. After taking 3–5 doses, the sores may swell further—do not be alarmed, as this is due to the expulsion of toxic qi. Mild cases will heal after 10 doses; severe cases will be completely cured after 20 doses. After taking each dose, dry the residue in the sun, boil it in water, and use the liquid to bathe the affected area regularly.
Note
Avoid sexual activity, raw and cold foods, clear tea, fried or stir-fried foods, hen, goose, mutton, pork (especially the head and hooves), and fish and shrimp—all foods that induce wind.
