Drug Formulation

8 liang of He Shou Wu, 4 liang of Xian Mao (from Sichuan), 1 liang of Achyranthes root (soaked in wine), 1 liang of Poria cocos (cooked in a clay pot with human milk, then steamed), 1 liang of Red Poria (cooked in a clay pot with cow’s milk), 1 liang of Raw Rehmannia root (soaked in wine, steamed, and pounded),Goji berries (fine red variety from Ganzhou) 1 liang, Ginseng (firm and clear) 1 liang, Angelica root (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Eucommia bark (tossed with ginger juice, stir-fried with salt and wine to remove fibers) 1 liang, Polygala root (soaked in licorice juice, flesh removed) 1 liang, Cypress seed kernels (oil removed) 1 liang,Cornus officinalis pulp 1 liang, Cuscuta seed (boiled into cakes) 1 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (stir-fried with salt and wine until fragrant) 1 liang, Large sesame seeds (steamed with wine 9 times) 1 liang, Walnut kernels 1 liang, Pine nut kernels (all ground separately) 1 liang.

Processing

Except for Rehmannia and peach kernels, grind all ingredients into a fine powder. Add the Rehmannia, sun-dry thoroughly, grind again, then mix in the two types of kernels. Combine with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 100 pills per dose on an empty stomach with wine; during the summer months, take with salted broth.
