Formulas Name : Seven Treasures Ointment
Chinese Name : 七珍膏
Drug Formulation
3 qian of frankincense, 3 qian of myrrh, 3 qian of mercuric oxide, 3 qian of white flower snake, 3 qian of child’s tea, 2 liang of camphor, and 7 fen of musk (all finely ground).

Processing
First, use 1 jin of sesame oil. Cut fresh locust tree branches into 100 pieces and add them to the oil one by one; wait until the oil is reduced and dry before adding more, continuing until the oil forms beads when a drop is held up. Next, add 1 liang 5 qian of beeswax, followed by 12 liang of talcum powder. Heat until slightly warm, then add the finely ground medicinal ingredients listed above to form a paste. Soak in water overnight to remove the heat, then store.
