Formulas Name : Shen’s Double Sand Pills
Chinese Name : 沈氏双砂丸
Drug Formulation
4 liang of needle sand (roasted until red, then quenched in vinegar until white), 1 liang of amomum (raw, ground), 5 qian of cyperus (soaked in urine, then roasted), 1 liang of soapstone (wrapped in white steamed bun dough, calcined until red), 1 liang of Guangxi frankincense (raw, ground), and 3 sheng of barley flour.

Instructions for Use
Pound 4 liang of raw walnut meat into a paste, then boil it with 1 jin of black dates (peeled and pitted) until soft, and form into pills. Take 1.5 qian per dose: for exhaustion and overwork, take with aged wine; for all types of jaundice, take with rice water. Do not exceed 4 liang per illness; up to 6 liang is permissible, and all cases will be cured.
