Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills using Shenqu paste, each weighing 2 qian; coat with cinnabar; sun-dry; store tightly in a porcelain jar; avoid roasting over fire.

Instructions for Use
At the onset of an epidemic, for symptoms such as chills, fever, headache, and extreme drowsiness or oppression, administer with Peppermint Decoction; for vomiting and diarrhea caused by Agastache, administer with Agastache Decoction; for intestinal colic, administer with Yin-Yang Water; for bloody dysentery, administer with a decoction of hawthorn (roasted until charred);for white dysentery, take it with a decoction of light ginger; for malaria, take it with a decoction made from three peach twigs picked from the southeastern side of a tree; for one-sided or bilateral headaches, take it with warm wine and apply the ground herb to both temples; for the initial stage of an unknown swollen abscess, take it with warm wine and apply it to the affected area; for stroke-induced unconsciousness, facial paralysis, and obstruction of urination and defecation, take it with a decoction of Acorus tatarinowii;For chest and diaphragm fullness and oppression due to heart or spleen disorders, take with light ginger decoction; for wind-fire toothache, grind with wine and apply topically; for muscle and tendon spasms and joint pain, take with aged wine; for women with abdominal masses or delayed menstruation, take with aged wine; for epilepsy, take 7 peach twigs and 7 willow twigs, decocted in water; for boils caused by pork or mutton, take with Acorus tatarinowii decoction;For infants suffering from “100-day fetal toxicity,” take with warm water; for acute and chronic convulsions, take with Gou Teng Decoction; for liver distension and food stagnation, take with a decoction of charred hawthorn. For these conditions in their early stages, take 2–3 doses for mild cases and 3–4 doses for severe cases. Alternatively, dissolve in hot water and take.
