Drug Formulation

1 spider (must be black with a large abdomen. If no spider is available, a wall cockroach—black-bodied with a white back, living in a nest consisting of a mat and a cover—may be used instead. If no wall cockroach is available, use its nest; however, if the nest is mottled brown and large, with a mat but no cover—known as “wall labor”—it must not be used), 5 fen of verdigris.
