Drug Formulation

1 liang of cardamom, 1 liang of dried ginger (roasted), 1 liang of Bai Cao Shuang, 3 qian of southern frankincense, 3 qian of green frankincense,half liang of Piper longum, half liang of Zhi Ke, half liang of San Leng, half liang of Cloves, half liang of Turmeric (sliced), half liang of Areca nut, half liang of White Cardamom, 50 seeds of Croton tiglium (with skin and membrane removed), 50 almonds (with skin and tips removed; grind these two ingredients separately), 2 liang of wax boiled in wine, and half liang of clear sesame oil.

Processing

Except for the croton seeds and almonds, which are ground separately, grind all other ingredients into a fine powder and mix them together. Then add the croton seeds and almonds and mix thoroughly. First, melt the clear sesame oil with the wax, pour it into the mixture, and blend until well combined. Pound the mixture 1,000 to 1,000 times in a wooden mortar. Form the mixture into a block using the wax and store it in a ceramic container.

Form into pills just before use and take with ginger tea; taking them with saliva is also highly effective.
