Drug Formulation

Coptis (Huanglian) 1 liang, White Headwort (Baitouweng) 1 liang, Rhubarb (Dahuang) 4 liang, Hawthorn (Shanzha) 4 liang, Areca Nut (Binlang) 3 liang, Magnolia Bark (Houpo, roasted) 5 qian, Wood Fragrance (Muxiang) 4 qian, Small Trifoliate Orange Fruit (Zhishi, stir-fried) 8 qian.

Processing

Grind all ingredients into a fine powder, sift through a sieve, and mix with cold boiled water to form small pills. For every 16 liang of the mixture, use 3 liang 5 qian of talc as a coating to make the pills glossy.
