Drug Formulation
2 liang of gallnut, 1 qian of powdered realgar, 3 qian of licorice (roasted), a pinch of cloves, a pinch of wood fragrant, a pinch of musk, a pinch of mercury oxide, and 10 grains of glutinous rice.

Instructions for Use
Boil in a clay pot with 1 large bowl of water until reduced to 7 parts; wait until the surface of the decoction forms wrinkles, indicating it is ready. Strain through silk to remove the dregs, and drink the entire dose in one go.After taking the decoction, lie flat on your back with your head elevated on a pillow. If you feel something in your abdomen rising toward your heart, do not move. If you vomit, catch the vomit in a basin; it will resemble a fish bladder—this is the toxic substance. After vomiting, drink one cup of tea; it is harmless if you have a bowel movement. Immediately prepare plain white rice porridge to replenish your strength, and subsequently take 3–5 Detoxifying Pills.
Note
Avoid raw, cold, greasy, and vinegar- or sauce-based foods for 10 days.
