Drug Formulation

Aconite (half raw—peeled and with the tip removed—and half processed), 8 liang; Tiannanxing, 5 liang 3 qian (soaked in river water for 3 days, then processed); Amomum, 1 liang;Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed) 2 liang 7 qian, Chuanxiong 2 liang 7 qian, Fangfeng (with root tip removed) 2 liang 7 qian, Xiangbai Zhi 2 liang 7 qian, Platycodon (with root tip removed) 2 liang 7 qian, Fine Pine Soot Ink 2 liang (burned to retain its properties), Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed) 7 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills, making 30 pills per liang.
