Drug Formulation

Cinnabar 1 qian (ground), scorpion tail (tip removed) 1 qian, white silkworm pupae (straight ones) 1 qian (washed clean, soaked in ginger juice, lightly roasted),1 centipede (large, with head and legs removed, internal contents scraped out, soaked in wine, and lightly roasted until fragrant), 1 character of genuine musk, 1 qian each of licorice and pinellia (aged, with the navel scraped off, washed 7 times in boiling water), 1 qian of ginseng (root base removed, washed, sliced, and dried), and 1 qian of patchouli (tips removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a chicken’s egg.

Instructions for Use

For children aged one year or older, administer 1 pill per dose, dissolved in peppermint tea; for those aged 2–3 weeks but not yet one week old, adjust the dosage as appropriate. If the condition has already become critical, do not strictly adhere to this protocol.
