Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Place it in a steamer, lining the top and bottom with a thick layer of Chinese chives. Steam over low heat from Chen to You; test with a silver hairpin—it is ready when the mixture turns yellow. While still hot, shape into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
