Drug Formulation
60 jujubes (split open, pitted), 1 sheng of Lepidium seeds (roasted), 1 sheng of apricot kernels (peeled, tips removed; for those with two kernels, roast).

Processing
Pound the above ingredients together until they form a paste, then shape into pills. If the mixture is too hard and dry to bind, gradually add honey while mixing to form pills.

Cough caused by phlegm, persisting for a long time and gradually developing into edema, accompanied by constipation and difficulty passing urine, as well as swelling of the head, face, and body.
Instructions for Use
Administer as described above with a decoction of white mulberry bark; start with 7–8 pills twice daily. Gradually increase the dose until bowel movements are restored. For severe cases, it is beneficial to occasionally consume duck’s soft-boiled eggs. Alternatively, the first three ingredients may be boiled into a decoction for oral administration.
