Prepared Rehmannia Root (roasted) 5 qian, Asparagus Root (core removed, roasted) 1 liang 5 qian, Atractylodes (chopped) 1 liang 5 qian, Dried Ginger (roasted) 1 liang 5 qian, Angelica Root (sliced, roasted) 1 liang 5 qian, Dendrobium (roots removed) 1 liang 5 qian, Licorice Root (roasted, chopped) 1 liang 5 qian,Cistanche (soaked in wine, coarse skin removed, sliced, and roasted) 1 liang 5 qian, Paeonia lactiflora 1 liang 5 qian, Ginseng 1 liang 5 qian, Rheum palmatum (roasted, coarsely chopped, and stir-fried) 1 liang 5 qian,Aster tataricus (washed) 1 liang 5 qian, Poria cocos (black skin removed) 3 fen, Saposhnikovia divaricata (stems removed) 3 fen, Sesame seeds (raw, ground) 3 fen, Angelica dahurica 5 qian, Sichuan pepper (seeds and stems removed, stir-fried until sweating) 1 liang, Apricot kernels 3 fen (soaked in hot water, skin, tips, and double kernels removed, stir-fried).

Grind the above ingredients into a powder; mix with honey refined from boiled jujube pulp to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
