Drug Formulation

1 jin of pure sesame oil, 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of raw Rehmannia glutinosa, and 1 liang of raw licorice.

Processing

Fry the three herbs in the oil until charred, strain out the residue, and ensure the mixture remains solid even when a drop of water is added; then, for every 1 liang of oil, add 5 qian of roasted yellow丹, and simmer over low heat until it forms a paste. Remove from heat, then add 1 liang of yellow rat and 1 liang of white rat, and simmer over very low heat until well blended. Finally, add 2 qian each of defatted frankincense and myrrh, and stir until uniform.

Instructions for Use

Apply as a poultice, changing it once a day.
