Drug Formulation

2.5 qian of frankincense, 2.5 qian of myrrh, 2.5 qian of rhubarb, 2 qian of cinnabar, 0.3 fen of child’s tea, 0.2 fen of mercury oxide, and 0.5 fen of borneol (ground separately).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. First, bring 2 liang of vegetable oil to a rolling boil; then add 1 liang of beeswax and melt it. Stir in the medicinal powder until well blended. Remove from heat, then add the borneol and stir again. Store in a porcelain container.
