Drug Formulation

2 liang of light-processed Aconite root, 2 liang of fresh safflower, 2 liang of human hair, 2 liang of Curcuma zedoaria, 2 liang of Cinnamomum cassia twigs, 2 liang of Notopterygium incisum, 2 liang of Angelica pubescens, 2 liang of white silkworm pupae, 2 liang of Gentiana macrophylla, 2 liang of Ephedra, 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of processed Sichuan Aconite, 2 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 2 liang of Clematis chinensis, 2 liang of processed Aconite, 2 liang of raw Rheum palmatum, 2 liang of red peony root,raw Gardenia fruit 2 liang, Peach Kernel 2 liang, Curcuma zedoaria 2 liang, White Angelica 2 liang, Light-processed Whole Insect 2 liang, Acanthopanax bark 2 liang, Galangal 2 liang, Raw Rehmannia root 4 liang, Cyperus rotundus 4 liang, and Eucommia bark 4 liang.

Processing

Use 15 jin of sesame oil; add the herbs and simmer until charred, then strain out the residue. Continue simmering until the mixture forms beads when a drop is held up; add 60 liang of cinnabar to thicken the paste.

Instructions for Use

When preparing the poultice, add 2 liang of aromatic spices, 5 qian of ground cinnamon, and 5 qian of storax oil to each jin of medicinal oil. Mix thoroughly with the medicinal oil and spread the mixture onto a red cloth. Warm the poultice before use and apply it to the affected area according to the specific condition.
