Dai Zhe Shi (calcined, quenched in vinegar 7 times) 2 liang, Purple Quartz (calcined, quenched in vinegar 7 times) 2 liang, Yu Yu Liang (calcined, quenched in vinegar 7 times) 2 liang, Aconite Root (roasted with vinegar) 2 liang, Yang Qi Shi (calcined until red, finely ground) 1 liang,Chuanxiong 1 liang, Deer Antler (scorched to remove hair, steamed with vinegar, then dried) 1 liang, Poria (wood removed) 1 liang, Ejiao (chopped, stir-fried with clam powder until pearl-like) 1 liang, Polygonum seed (stir-fried) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (root base removed, soaked in wine) 1 liang, Dragon’s Blood (ground separately) half a liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Use vinegar boiled with mugwort to mix with glutinous rice and form into pills the size of a tung tree seed.
