Drug Formulation

Atractylodes lancea 8 liang, Magnolia officinalis 5 liang (peeled), Citrus reticulata peel 5 liang, Glycyrrhiza uralensis 3 liang, Fennel seeds (lightly roasted) 3 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder for general use; alternatively, take 1 young pig’s stomach and half a jin of ground lotus seed. Scrub the pig’s stomach thoroughly clean, stuff it with the ground lotus seed, and tie it shut with thread. Simmer it together with 2 pig kidneys in a child’s urine until extremely tender. Remove, mash into a paste, mix with the previously prepared medicine, and pound until thoroughly blended to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 70–80 pills per dose, washed down with ginger tea; plain water is also acceptable.
