Fresh Impatiens stems (including branches, leaves, flower stamens, and roots; washed and sun-dried until half-dry) approximately 1 jin; raw Rehmannia root 6 liang; Angelica sinensis roots with filaments 4 liang; Acanthopanax senticosus 5 liang; Pinellia ternata 3 liang; Aconitum carmichaeli 2 liang; Aconitum kusnezoffii 2 liang; dried ginger 2 liang; Notopterygium incisum 2 liang; Angelica pubescens 2 liang.

Instructions for Use
Use 15 jin of genuine sesame oil; bring to a boil. First, add the stems of Impatiens and simmer for 20 minutes until they stop popping. Then add raw Rehmannia root and simmer for another 10 minutes or so. Next, add all the other herbs, simmer until the mixture is dry, and strain thoroughly. Transfer to a clean pot, bring to a boil over low heat, and add 1.5 jin each of sifted Guang Dan and fine starch.stir continuously with a willow stick until thoroughly blended. Test the consistency by dripping a small amount into water; when it reaches the desired consistency, remove from heat. Add 5 qian of fine musk, 1 liang each of fine frankincense and myrrh (oil removed), and 2 liang each of ground cassia bark and ground cloves. Mix well, add water to form a dough, place in a jar, cover with clean water, seal tightly, and set aside for future use. Apply using oiled paper.
