Drug Formulation

Deer Antler (dehaired, fried with butter) 4 liang, Ginseng 1 liang, Aconite (roasted until cracked, peel and navel removed) 1 liang, Acanthopanax Bark (chopped) 1 liang, Schisandra Berry 1 liang, Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine, sliced, and roasted) 1 liang, Fangfeng (branches removed) 1 liang, Polygala Root (core removed) 1 liang, Dendrobium (root removed) 1 liang,Yam 1 liang, Dog’s-spine (dehaired) 1 liang, Cistanche (wrinkled skin removed, soaked in wine, sliced, and baked) 3 liang, Prepared Rehmannia (baked) 3 liang, Poria (black skin removed) 1 liang 1 fen, Dodder Seed (soaked in wine, pounded separately) 1 liang 1 fen, Rubus Fruit 2 liang, Stone Dragon’s Tail 2 liang,Smilax glabra 3 fen, Heather 3 fen, Cnidium monnieri (roasted, hulled) 3 fen, Atractylodes macrocephala 3 fen, Morinda officinalis (core removed, soaked in wine, roasted) 1 liang and a half, Asparagus cochinchinensis (core removed, roasted) 1 liang and a half, Eucommia ulmoides (chopped, roasted) 1 liang and a half, Dried ginger (cracked) 3 fen,Cinnamon (coarse bark removed) 0.3 fen, Evodia (roasted) 0.3 fen, Aconite (cracked, peel and pith removed) 0.3 fen, Asarum (stems and leaves removed) 0.3 fen, Sichuan pepper (seeds and closed pods removed, roasted until sweating) 0.3 fen.

Processing

Grind all ingredients except Cuscuta into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Take 20 pills per dose, increasing to 30 pills, on an empty stomach before meals, washed down with wine, three times a day.
