Drug Formulation

2 liang of Phellodendron bark (chopped), half a liang of dew-soaked bee hive (lightly roasted), 2 he of glutinous rice, 1 he of red adzuki beans, and 1 liang of salt.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; pound fresh Rehmannia root to extract its juice, then mix the powder with the juice to achieve the desired consistency. Cut a piece of raw silk to fit the size of the swollen and painful area, and apply a thick layer of the mixture onto it.
