Drug Formulation

Atractylodes lancea 4 liang (each 1 liang soaked and stir-fried in rice water, salt water, wine, and vinegar), Angelica sinensis 3 liang, Rehmannia glutinosa (prepared) 3 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong 1 liang, Trigonella foenum-graecum 1 liang 2 qian, Paeonia lactiflora 1 liang 2 qian, Magnetite 1 liang 3 qian, Phellodendron amurense (soaked in salt) 1 liang 5 qian, Anemarrhena asphodeloides (stir-fried with water) 1 liang 5 qian,Schisandra 1 liang and a half, Morinda 1 liang and a half, Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang and a half, Lycium barbarum 2 liang and a half, Cinnamomum cassia 2 liang and a half, Fennel 2 liang and a half, Poria cocos (steamed with salt and wine) 2 liang and a half, Carica papaya (soaked in Achyranthes bidentata decoction) 2 liang, Eucommia ulmoides 2 liang,Cistanche 2 liang, Myrrh 1 liang, Yangqishi 1 liang (soak in Scutellaria baicalensis decoction, place inside a sheep’s horn, seal tightly with clay, calcine over a fire until blue smoke rises; remove and grind between your fingers; it is ready when it does not fall when held up to the sun; if it falls, calcine again).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Select a day when the Ren, Zi, Geng, or Shen stems are at their peak. Take 60 chicken eggs. Poke a small hole in each, remove the contents, and let them dry. Fill the holes with the powder, seal them with paper, and leave them with the hen until the eggs hatch. Then retrieve the medicine, mix it with refined honey, and form it into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 81 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with salted water.
