1 male water lily seed (burned to ash), 3 cicada shells (lightly roasted), half a liang of licorice (roasted until slightly reddish, chopped), 1 liang of Sichuan rhubarb (chopped, lightly roasted), 1 liang of Ophiopogon tuber (core removed, dried), 3 fen of Angelica sinensis (chopped, lightly roasted),3 fen of Astragalus (chopped), 3 fen of Ligusticum, half a liang of Polygala (core removed), half a liang of Akebia (chopped), and 1 liang of Ginseng (root tip removed).
