10 black peppercorns, 1 damp-born worm, 1 croton seed (shell removed).

From *Shenghui*, Volume 33.
Processing
First, grind the black pepper into a fine powder; then add the castor bean and the wet-born worm, and grind until uniform. Mix with soft rice to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use
Wrap one pill in cotton and bite down on it; if saliva forms, spit it out immediately.
