Formulas Name : White Flower Snake Powder

Chinese Name : 白花蛇散

Drug Formulation

White Flower Snake (soaked in wine overnight, skin and bones removed, flesh roasted) 3 liang; Ginseng half a liang; Poria (black skin removed) half a liang; Angelica (sliced, roasted) half a liang; Licorice (roasted) half a liang; Ephedra (roots and nodes removed) half a liang; White Aconite (roasted) half a liang; Gastrodia half a liang; Ligusticum half a liang,Qianghuo (remove the root tip) half liang, Gaoben (remove shoots and soil) half liang, Aconite (roasted until cracked, remove skin and navel) half liang, Asarum (remove shoots and leaves) 1 liang, Dried Scorpion (stir-fried) 1 liang, Angelica dahurica half liang, Fangfeng (remove forks) half liang, White Fresh Bark 1 fen, Cinnabar (ground separately) 1 fen,Musk (ground separately) 2 qian, Ox Bile (ground separately) 1 fen.

Processing

Take the above 20 ingredients; except for those to be ground separately, pound and sift them into a powder, then add the separately ground ingredients and sift again until uniformly fine.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with scallion whites and cured tea.
