Drug Formulation

Achyranthes root (stem removed) 1 liang, Red peony root 1 liang, Angelica root 1 liang, Atractylodes root 1 liang, Angelica dahurica root 1 liang, Sichuan pepper (seeds removed) 1 liang, Magnolia bark (coarse outer bark removed) 1 liang, Platycodon root 1 liang, Pinellia tuber 1 liang,Platycodon root (with root tip removed) 1 liang, Asarum root 1 liang, Evodia fruit 1 liang, Aconite root (raw, with skin and pith removed) 1 liang, Wood fragrant 1 liang, Areca nut peel 1 liang, Areca nut 1 liang, Ghee 2 liang, Wild camel fat 5 liang, Wild boar fat 5 liang.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients and soak them in wine overnight. First, simmer the wild boar fat; then add the remaining herbs. Simmer over low heat from dawn until sunset until the ointment is formed. Filter through cotton to remove the residue, return the liquid to the pot, and then add the clarified butter and wild camel fat. Allow to cool slightly, then transfer to a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, take an amount the size of a jujube and rub it onto the affected area; be sure to avoid drafts. If suffering from abdominal pain, take a dose the size of a marble, dissolve it in wine on an empty stomach, and swallow.
