Drug Formulation

1 liang of Xunfeng Vine, 1.5 liang of Acanthopanax Bark, 5 qian of Tiger Tibia Bone, 5 qian of Wuyao, 5 qian of Heather Leaf, 5 qian of Atractylodes, 1 liang of Triangular Tip (preferably grown on rocks), 0.75 fen of Dipsacus, 2.5 qian of Blue Aquilaria, 2.5 qian of Wilfordia, 2.5 qian of Sichuan Dipsacus, 2.5 qian of Angelica,Frankincense 2 qian and a half, Sichuan Qianghuo 2 qian and a half, Northern Asarum 2 qian and a half, Green Vine Root 1 liang, Sichuan Achyranthes 4 qian, Fangfeng 5 qian, Southern Aquilaria 2 qian and a half, Stone Schisandra 1 liang (those growing on rocks are best), Safflower 5 qian, Licorice Knots 5 qian, Fresh Ginger 1 liang and a half, Large Sichuan Aconite 1 piece (divided into 4 portions; use only 1 portion raw).

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients. Place them in a cloth bag and submerge the bag in a jar of ash-free liquor. Seal the jar with oiled paper. Place the jar in a pot filled with water and simmer over low heat from the hour of Chen until the hour of Wu. Remove the jar along with the contents.

Instructions for Use

Take this medicinal wine warm as desired each day; for severe cases, take up to two doses until cured, regardless of the time of day. In the summer months, to prevent the wine from turning sour if left to stand too long, use only half a dose, simmering it in a small jar of wine as described above before consumption.
