Drug Formulation
5 liang of Coptis, 3 liang of Oyster Shell, 3 liang of Cassia Seed,3 liang of fresh ginger, 3 liang of gypsum, 3 liang of Cassia seeds, 3 liang of yellow calcined gypsum, 3 liang of Cornus officinalis, 3 liang of Angelica sinensis, 3 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis, 3 liang of Glehnia root, 3 liang of Plantago seeds, 3 liang of bamboo leaves, 3 liang of sodium carbonate, 3 liang of licorice, 3 liang of Paeonia lactiflora, 3 liang of Biota seeds, 3 liang of Sichuan aconite, 3 liang of Alisma,Cinnamon Bark 3 liang, Shepherd’s Purse Seeds 3 liang, Knotweed Seeds 3 liang, Peach Kernels (with skin and tip removed, double-kerneled) 3 liang, Fangfeng 3 liang, Magnolia Flower Buds 3 liang, Ginseng 3 liang, Chuanxiong 3 liang, White Angelica Root 3 liang, Asarum 3 liang, Lycopodium 3 liang, Borneol 3 qian, Cloves ½ liang, Pearl Seeds (raw) 25 pieces, Qinpi 3 liang.

Processing
Coarsely crush the ingredients, place them in a silk bag, and steep them in 5 dou of fine wine in a jar. Steep for 14 days in spring and autumn, 7 days in summer, and 21 days in winter.

Instructions for Use
Take half a he after meals. Avoid intoxication and vomiting; gradually increase the dose. After 100 days, vision will be as clear as before.
Note
Avoid hot noodles, pickled fish, mallow, foul-smelling pungent foods, chicken, fish, pork, horse meat, donkey meat, raw or cold foods, sticky or slippery foods, sexual intercourse, anger, deep sorrow, excessive physical exertion, and extreme cold or heat—be cautious of all these.
