Drug Formulation

Dried lacquer 3 fen (crushed with a pestle, stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), realgar, and croton seed powder 1 qian.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a millet seed.

Instructions for Use

Adjust the dosage according to the child’s age; administer with a decoction of pomegranate root (Dongxing variety). For cases involving pain, administer 5–7 to 20–30 pills with a decoction of Chinese toon root or Chinese pennywort, taken during an attack.
